• Textbook:   Linear System Theory and Design, 4rd edition,  by Chi-Tsong Chen, Oxford University Press, 2012.    (We will cover most of chapters 2 through 6 of the textbook, and introduce balanced and minimal realizations, state feedback, and state estimators, plus additional topics as time permits.)

• Prerequisites: Graduate Standing AND MA 511. All students who have not taken MA 511 must have taken the Linear Algebra Pretest, which was held Friday, August 20th. Corequisites: None.
