ECE569 Homework Assignments

Fall 2018

Problem numbers are from the required textbook.
It is the student's responsibility to determine the correct problems if he or she is using a different edition of the text.

Homework will be assigned approximately every other week. It is due in class at 4:30pm on the assigned date. Homework may also be submitted by email in advance of class. 

• Assignment 1:   Problems 2-39, 2-40, and 2-41 from the textbook, with the modification that each edge of the cube measures 30 cm in length, and the cube is placed such that its center has coordinates (20cm, 30cm, 15cm) with respect to Frame 1, $o_1 x_1 y_1 z_1$. Frame 2 is to be placed at the center of the cube at this new location. (These problems regard the table, cube, robot, and camera.)
  Assigned September 2, 2018; due by 4:30pm September 10, 2018.
  Recommended problems (not to be turned in): 2-1 through 2-16, 2-24 through 2-27, 2-36-2.41, and 2-43.
• Assignment 2:   Problems 3-4 and 3-7 from the textbook.
  Assigned September 26, 2018; due by 4:30pm October 3, 2018.
  Recommended problems (not to be turned in): 3-1 through 3-4, and 3-6 through 3-9.
• Assignment 3:   Problems 4-14, 4-15 from the textbook.
  Assigned October 3, 2018; due by 4:30pm October 10, 2018.
  Recommended problems (not to be turned in): 4-1 through 4.9, 4-11, 4-16 through 4-23, 4-26 through 4-28.
