Program Overview
All students admitted to the Freshman Engineering program are also eligible for the Program in International Engineering.
PIE includes three curriculum components:
- General education core courses of the School of Liberals Arts and Sciences combined with the Engineering general education courses. The combined core courses make maximum advantage of the overlap between the general education courses of both schools.
- Degree requirements for either Biomedical, Computer, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Applied German major with a five-months-long internship program in Germany , offered by the University of Applied Science in Heilbronn in the 4 th year of study.
Students can formally apply to the Program in International Engineering after successful completion of Freshman Engineering.
